april (garden bloggers' muse day)

One misty, moisty morning,
when cloudy was the weather,
there I met an old man
all clothed in leather.

All clothed in leather,
with a cap under his chin.
How do you do?
And how do you do?
And how do you do again?

—Nursery rhyme

  1. What a fun GBMD post! Hope you are all recovered from your close-encounter-with-a-spammer computer experience. Your post made me giggle.

  2. Thanks for the comment! I've just skimmed the surface of your blog; looks like I'm going to be spending some time getting to know the wenches over the next days.

The computer moment occurred, of course, late at night, in the dark, and I felt very alone. As in, Oh, my gosh, what have I done, and is it worth waking up B?

I had another such moment in high school when I brushed my teeth with hydrogen peroxide instead of just rinsing, and I spit and smiled, and my gums were white. Oh. My. Gosh. Do I wake the house? Fortunately, the color returned.

  3. Misty moisty is a good description of April, my favorite month.
